So, I absolutely love this idea- if you have an inner Martha Stewart, this could be the perfect gift idea for you. Make a mini book for your mom (or significant other) explaining things you love about her.

All you need is:

•  Cardstock to print the cards on (or you can use a deck of cards)
•  A hole punch
•  A binder/jump ring (available at your local craft or office supplies store) — or you could use ribbon!
•  A pen to write with
•  Pictures

Buzzfeed also shared several other projects you can do!

Make a “Mom Survival Kit”

Load up a jar of her favorite things that can make their day more manageable. Here’s an example from Classy Clutter of what’s inside the jar to the right- she even added printable labels!

What’s Inside:

•  Wet Ones and sanitizer (always a must-have around kids)
•  Brightening under eye cream (for those lack of sleep eyes)
•  Listerine strips
•  Mascara and chapstick (so you feel somewhat put together)
•  Crystal Light Energy and a bit of chocolate (because those two things can help just about anything)

Other Inexpensive/ Free gifts

•  Make a homemade meal & clean up
•  Share your favorite memory/ story about her
•  Make a homemade card- Check ideas here!
•  Give her the day off- do all the errands & tasks she needs done and let her just sit back and relax!

Take a picture, then have each generation hold the picture inside of the picture- the outcome is nothing short of adorable and will certainly pull on anyone’s heart strings.

Now that you got some ideas under your belt- I hope they turn out successful! I hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day!
